The School’s History
Agora Barcelona International School is a private international school which has the experience of highly experienced teaching staff with a great vocation for education.
Agora Barcelona International School was founded in 2008 with the principal objective of providing a truly international education for our students, to prepare them for life within the global community. Since our inception our aim has been to encourage all our students to achieve their maximum academic and personal potential.
Sport and education near Montserrat
In 2016 the School initiated the Vocational Training in Sport and Leisure, which provides students with an opportunity to gain professional qualifications in the Sport and Leisure sector, in conjunction with obtaining a Cambridge University certified English qualification (KET, PET and First Certificate). Agora Barcelona International School is the only private school in the Baix Llobregat region to offer these courses.
In 2017 the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) was incorporated into the school’s curriculum. The IB is a prestigious international pre-university programme not only recognised by Spanish and Catalan universities but opening doors to top universities worldwide. The adoption of the IB consolidates our position as the leading international school of the region.
